What I love most about Leigh walking and looking after Patches Valentino is the fact Patches truly loves Leigh. Admittedly my heart lurched a bit when I knew this but my dog is so safe in his hands and actually is now a more obedient cheery dog from his wonderful walks.’
After moving areas we were concerned that we wouldn’t find another Dog walker as conscientious and caring as our previous one, so were very nervous and spent a lot of time looking for the “right” person. Leigh was recommended to us by another dog walker in the area and after meeting him and discussing how he worked, we felt he would be ideal to take our cocker spaniel Lilly on her daily adventures. Leigh goes over and above to make the dog walks as interesting as possible and sends me daily videos of them all playing across the downs, running around having great fun. It’s lovely to see and he ensures Lilly is safe and exercised on a daily basis. He even showers her off when muddy, dries her and pops her back home to dry off and have a well deserved snooze. I have no hesitation in recommending Leigh, he just loves what he does and Lilly is a very content and happy dog’
I have no hesitation in recommending Doggy Day Tours to walk anyone’s dog. Leigh, the owner, is an animal lover who is very reliable and caring and his main concern is the welfare of my dog. But he doesn’t just care about my dog; he is also passionate about making sure he provides an excellent service. My dog, Dolly, is a Westie/Bichon cross. I have had several dog walkers in the past and although most of them have proved to be ok, it’s most irritating to come home from work to a dog that has to be bathed because she is covered in mud, or something unsavoury that she has rolled in and then to have to clean the floor because it is covered. Since Leigh has been walking Dolly, she has been returned home free of mud or anything else that she may have rolled in because he carries a hand-pump shower on board his van. He not only showers her down, but he also shampoos her to free her of any nasty smells. Therefore my dog can still enjoy a good roll in the mud (or whatever else she chooses!) and I can enjoy coming home to a nice clean dog (and kitchen!). Not only does Doggy Day Tours run a dog walking service, it also offers day care, as well as a house sitting service. I have two cats as well as a dog and it is reassuring to know that my pets are going to be well looked after whilst we’re on holiday.
